How to Give
It is the faithful generosity of people like you that make our mission possible. We strive, in John Wesley's words, "to do all the good we can, in all the ways we can, to all the people we can, as long as we can." Your donations fund support for widows & widowers, for children, for hunger ministries and shower ministries and so much more. On Sunday mornings we have a challenge as people come forward to Communion: to empty their pockets of change along the chancel rail, and we take all that money and give to local charities throughout Eureka Springs (ECHO VILLAGE & Medical Clinic, People Helping People Drug Assistance Program, Good Shepherd Humane Animal Shelter, Purple Flower Domestic Abuse Organization, and Flint Street Food Bank. In the past five years that simple, extra mile of giving has enabled us to give these charities nearly $100,000. Our theology of giving is this: to support, work with, and give back to the people doing the most good in our community. On top of this, as United Methodists, we tithe ten percent of our budget to the national denomination to help with national and international missions. All gifts are tax deductible, and we mail out giving statements in January. We do encourage regular givers to set up an auto-draft thru their bank. This bypasses third party fees that online banks charge.
Thank you for your generosity and all that you give to make all that we do possible!

In everything I have shown you that, by working hard, we must help the weak. In this way we remember the Lord Jesus’ words: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
